2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX EDGE Variants Launched With More Features & Automatic Gearbox For Lower Trims

Mahindra has expanded the XUV 3XO portfolio with new REVX EDGE variants, bringing a wider range of features and transmission choices to buyers looking for a compact SUV. The latest additions are designed to make some of the XUV 3XO’s popular features available at more accessible price points, while also introducing an automatic gearbox on a lower variant.

With the new REVX EDGE range, Mahindra is focusing on customers who want a combination of modern styling, useful cabin equipment and multiple powertrain choices without necessarily stepping into the higher-priced variants. The new range also strengthens the XUV 3XO’s position in an increasingly competitive compact SUV segment.

New XUV 3XO REVX EDGE Variants Explained

The new REVX EDGE sits within the broader XUV 3XO lineup and brings a combination of cosmetic updates and additional equipment. Mahindra has positioned it as a value-oriented option for customers who want more than the basic features but do not want to spend significantly more for a top-spec model.

The REVX EDGE gets a dual-tone exterior theme along with a body-coloured grille and black wheel covers. LED lighting elements at the front and rear add a more contemporary appearance, while the black-themed interior and leatherette upholstery give the cabin a slightly more premium character.

The REVX EDGE is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, giving customers the flexibility to choose a powertrain according to their driving requirements.

More Features Added To The Cabin

Inside the cabin, the new variant receives several features that can make daily driving more convenient. A large 26.03 cm HD infotainment display takes centre stage on the dashboard and supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The system can be operated using steering-mounted controls, reducing the need for the driver to take their hands away from the steering wheel. The SUV also gets a four-speaker audio system.

Other additions include cruise control, a rear-view camera and rear AC vents. The front and rear armrests add another layer of comfort, with storage and cup-holder functionality provided depending on the location.

The rear seat gets a 60:40 split-folding arrangement, which allows owners to increase luggage space when required. Manual height adjustment is also provided for the driver’s seat.

REVX EDGE (O) Brings A Panoramic Sunroof

For customers wanting a more premium experience, Mahindra has also introduced the REVX EDGE (O). This variant builds on the equipment available with the REVX EDGE and adds several convenience and exterior features.

The panoramic sunroof is one of its biggest highlights. Sunroofs have become an increasingly popular feature among Indian SUV buyers, and their availability on a relatively accessible variant could make the EDGE (O) more attractive to customers focused on lifestyle features.

The variant also gets roof rails and electrically foldable outside rear-view mirrors. Passive keyless entry and push-button start further improve convenience during everyday use.

Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing automatic wipers are also included, reducing the number of manual inputs required from the driver in changing weather and lighting conditions.

Automatic Gearbox Comes To A Lower Variant

One of the more important changes in the updated XUV 3XO range is the availability of a petrol automatic gearbox on the REVX M(O).

The automatic version is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, bringing automatic convenience to a lower point in the XUV 3XO lineup. This could be particularly relevant for buyers who primarily drive in urban areas where stop-and-go traffic can make frequent clutch operation tiring.

The petrol automatic combination uses Mahindra’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 82 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque.

The same petrol engine is also available with the REVX EDGE, allowing customers to choose between manual and automatic transmission depending on their preferences.

Diesel Option Continues In The New Range

Mahindra has continued to offer a diesel engine with the new REVX EDGE variants. The 1.5-litre turbo-diesel unit produces 85.8 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque.

The diesel engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox in the REVX EDGE. Buyers choosing the REVX EDGE (O) can also opt for Mahindra’s AutoSHIFT+ transmission.

This gives the XUV 3XO a broader powertrain spread, particularly for buyers who cover significant highway distances or prefer the characteristics of a diesel engine.

Safety Equipment Gets Strong Coverage

Safety remains an important part of the XUV 3XO package, and the new REVX variants continue to offer a comprehensive list of standard equipment.

The REVX EDGE and EDGE (O) come with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, ISOFIX child-seat mounting points and reverse parking sensors. Three-point seat belts are provided for all occupants, while seat-belt reminders are also included.

The SUV also gets front height-adjustable seat belts. These features give the new variants a solid safety equipment base while allowing Mahindra to keep the focus on value and everyday usability.

Pricing And Powertrain Choices

The new REVX range gives customers several combinations to choose from. The REVX EDGE petrol manual starts at Rs 9.39 lakh, ex-showroom, while its petrol automatic version is priced at Rs 10.59 lakh.

The diesel manual version of the REVX EDGE is also priced at Rs 10.59 lakh. Moving to the REVX EDGE (O), prices start at Rs 9.89 lakh for the petrol manual.

The petrol automatic version of the EDGE (O) costs Rs 11.09 lakh, while the diesel manual is priced at Rs 11.09 lakh. The diesel AMT version comes at Rs 11.91 lakh. Meanwhile, the REVX M(O) petrol automatic is available at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

This spread allows customers to choose the features and transmission type they need instead of immediately moving to a higher-end trim.

Exterior Colour Options

Mahindra is offering the new REVX variants in five exterior shades. These include Everest White, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Nebula Blue and Galaxy Grey.

The colour selection covers both subtle and more expressive choices, while the dual-tone treatment on the REVX EDGE adds another visual element to the SUV.

The overall design remains familiar to XUV 3XO buyers, but the black detailing, lighting elements and dual-tone roof help distinguish the REVX versions from some other variants in the range.

A Wider Choice For XUV 3XO Buyers

The arrival of the REVX EDGE variants makes the XUV 3XO lineup more flexible than before. Customers now have additional choices when it comes to equipment, engine and transmission without having to move directly to the most expensive versions.

The availability of a petrol automatic at a lower price point is particularly significant for city-focused buyers, while the EDGE (O) adds features such as a panoramic sunroof, automatic lighting, rain-sensing wipers and keyless convenience.

With the new REVX EDGE range, Mahindra has essentially broadened the XUV 3XO’s appeal by combining popular features with more accessible variants. For buyers considering a compact SUV with multiple engine and transmission options, the expanded lineup gives them more room to select a version based on their budget and feature requirements.
